TWO ORGANIZATIONS

one healing ecosystem

Restore Forward and The Reconciliation Center steward 453 acres of forestland in Ava, New York — developing an eco-somatic recovery model rooted in land, body, and community.

OUR HISTORY

A multidisciplinary healing ecosystem — rooted in metabolic health, self-recovery, and reconciliation.

Restore Forward and The Reconciliation Center are sister entities united through a shared healing ecosystem. Formerly known as Black Women's Blueprint, The Reconciliation Center now serves as the nonprofit arm alongside Restore Forward, LLC — its for-profit enterprise partner. Together, the two organizations steward 453 acres of forestland in Ava, New York.

HEALING MUST BE MORE expansive

INTEGRATIVE WELLNESS    |    LAND-BASED HEALING    |    FOOD SOVEREIGNTY    |    NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE    |    RESTORATIVE EDUCATION    |    PRACTICAL HEALTH STEWARDSHIP

Restore Forward was born from a simple but urgent realization: healing cannot remain disconnected from the realities of how people actually live, work, eat, lead, love, and survive.

For years, many systems of care — including some we ourselves engaged in — focused primarily on isolated aspects of healing: emotional support without environmental change, physical wellness without addressing stress and trauma, or crisis response without long-term restoration. These approaches offered meaningful support, but addressed only portions of what it truly takes for human beings to recover, stabilize, and thrive.

Restoration moves beyond symptom management and toward true reconnection — to the body, the nervous system, the Earth, to nourishment, to rest, to dignity, and to the possibility of living differently.

OUR MODEL

HEALING WOVEN INTO every layer

01

Land as Medicine

Physical engagement with soil, plants, air, movement, rhythm, and seasonal life.

02

Food as Medicine

Practical, daily tools — what to cook, what to buy, how to nourish within your means.

03

Embodiment

Breathwork, movement, restorative rest, somatic awareness, nature immersion.

04

Stewardship

Recognizing patterns of imbalance before crisis. From dependency to agency

05

Integration

Land, food, body, rest, environment, education, community — one ecosystem.

WHO WE SERVE

families · survivors · leaders · caregivers

individuals navigating chronic illness & stress-related conditions.

ALMOST TWO DECADES OF WORK

OUR HISTORY BEGAN WITH Black Women's Blueprint

Almost two decades of struggle, of uplift, of "words of fire," of partnerships at federal and local levels — and the founding work that shaped what The Reconciliation Center is today.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

The 453 acres we steward in Ava, New York, are the ancestral homelands of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy.

We hold this land with respect for those who lived in relationship with it long before us, and with a commitment to honoring the original stewardship of Indigenous peoples — past, present, and future.
